Secretary Redding met with PASA lifetime members, toured the trade show and shared comments with the more than 2,000 conference attendees, including PASA Board Member Jamie Moore from Eat’N Park Corp.
More than 90 Bucks County farmers gathered to discuss the state of Pennsylvania agriculture with Secretary Redding and Rep. Marquerite Quinn. The event was supported by PSU Cooperative Extension and their Bucks County Directory Mike Fournier.
Secretary Redding and Deputy Secretary Kilgore joined the York County Agriculture Business Council for their annual recognition banquet. Awards included Outstanding Family Farm, which went to Rexroth Farms in Windsor.
Members of the PA ag community, including the PA Beekeepers Assoc., gathered in the Capitol for the annual Cornucopia event hosted by the PA State Council of Farm Organizations. Visitors learned about PA’s number one industry and had a chance to taste some of PA’s finest foods.
