Sec. Greig joined Aging Sec. Brian Duke and local older adult volunteers to plant the "Garden of Youth" at Downey School in Harrisburg as part of Older Pennsylvanians Month.
Sec. Greig presented a proclamation of May as Egg Month signed by Gov. Corbett to the Nat'l Egg Quality School as students from across the United States met in Harrisburg.
Sec. Greig toured the Port family's Clarion Farms while celebrating May Beef Month.
Sec. Greig toured W. B. Saul Ag High School in Philadelphia, speaking with students and instructors and learning how the school is making a difference in its community, reaching an often-overlooked crowd with the message of ag in a unique way.
Sec. Greig traveled to Delaware Valley College's annual A-Day, meeting the school's ag students, touring the school's farms and taking in the second fair of 2013.
