The Kimberton Community Fair was officially opened as Secretary Redding and other guests watched 2010 Kimberton Fair Queen Suzanne Lightcap cut the ribbon at the Chester County fair.
Sec. Redding joined Lebanon Area Fair Board Chair Sue Werner on WITF’s Radio Smart Talk to discuss the role of PA Fairs in the state’s local communities and as a place to teach nearly 5.5 million visitors about agriculture.
PSBA members gathered in Erie to discuss contemporary issues facing beekeepers and the honey industry. Sec. Redding joined more than 50 members – including 2010 PA State Honey Queen Teresa Bryson and former queen Maya Althouse – for the group’s annual conference and picnic.
Sec. Redding helped PA State Fair Queen Casey Hall distribute awards at the 2010 Jefferson County Fair dairy show.
At the opening of the 2010 Jacktown Fair, Secretary Redding recognized Buck Burns for his commitment to the Fair and the Greene County community.
